Bush looks so pathetically weak - opposite of what he thinks.
I loathe him up one side and down t'other - but - just from a strategy viewpoint -has he no idea that he looks like a "girlyman" in front of the whole world? Eveyone knows that Rummy & Cheney and the 'cons are dictating all policy.
How they must scorn him behind his back. I understand that in the 1988 election when Dad was running - he was called "junior" by the old man's henchmen and he must have been around 40 back then. Jeesh!
The thing is even when he does do something - like invade Iraq - he still seems like a little whimp because everyone knows THEY told him to do it. This is what happens when you elect a "not-too-bright" person - can easily be manipuated by stronger forces around him.

3. His subconscious must know it, but he is in denial...
All around him probably do hold him in disdain, but would never let him see that. I'm sure they reassure him that he is such a big powerful leader-- that the whole world fear s day in and day out...That's the manipulation game. Bush is so arrogant, he'd never allow himself to believe otherwise. Like a Greek tragedy-- only we will all be the ones taking the fall if something doesn't change soon!

6. Mama Bush had to call Rev. Billy to combat Jr's antisemitism
Anyone remember that?

Babs and Jr. got into it one day, with Jr. telling mommy that Jews "won't go to heaven" according to the Bible. Babs was having none of that, and got Rev. Billay Graham on the horn to show Jr. the error of his beliefs.

I guess Jr. missed his daily consultation with his "favorite philosopher".
