Saw a piece yesterday on BBC World that showed the extent of their hemp market. Clothes made from hemp. Hemp oil (possibly more healthy than olive oil). Even hemp burgers!

But I liked what happened when Reagan came along and kicked it up a notch.

He put more nonviolent drug offender is prison then the population at that time. He started propaganda at schools, teaching 1st and second graders with puppets, things that they had no danger of using anyway. Then he funnelled the funds from his drug war and subsequent selling of said drugs on the black market, to the CIA to go spread democracy everywhere with the NED.

The drug war is about to get worse. Everyone had dreams of decriminalization or even legalization. Sorry charlie, that just doesnt make enough backdoor shady money.
