Some offbeat reactions after watching the full debate
I couldn't watch all of "Rock the Vote" the other night because I was voting. (Or rather, I was trying to vote. My polling place was changed once again, and, as an added bonus, the postcards that had gone out had directed us to the wrong polling place, which was a hefty walk away from the right polling place.)

When the debate was replayed this morning, I noticed that my eyes were drawn to how candidates were reacting to the speaker who was handling the question. Did I notice Joe Lieberman's eyes glazing over when other candidates talked, or am I externalizing some preconceptions about him?

Wes Clark tends to go into a default smile on stage, but did his eyes seem to glint when Al and John reamed Howard on the flag issue? Did Howard seem visibly unenthusiastic when John Kerry was thrown a big lob with the question about military benefits? Did Sharpton and Kerry steal a look at each other when Clark answered a question? (I saw this on Tuesday and forget which question it was.)

In fact, what about Al's constant mugging when other candidates are answering questions? Is it fair, is it professional, or is it a combination of entertainment and democracy in action? Did the other candidates seem to be listening to John Edwards as if they liked and respected him? Which candidate seems out of it the most?

And one more question. I liked Clark's commercial, but who the heck is Outkast?

1. Outkast? I couldn't say
The only thing I figured out was it is some new band. Other than that, I haven't a clue.

8. Pat Boone CDs!!!
lmao...

Outkast is a damned good band... creative, different, and they were on the cutting edge of funk-rap all the way back in 1994. They were also one of the first rap bands that didn't sample...

11. AHEM...
this is a quote of me from the another thread:

"We all need to stop bickering with each other about the current Democrats who are trying to get the nomination. No need to fight with each other on who is better. Let's all focus on the main objective on hand: To get rid of Bush and bring our freedoms back. Let us all support whomever gets the nomination."

I need not say more.

Thank you.
Mysterio
