Today, Tony Snow had his butt handed to him by Sen. Levin on the air.
The only reason that the Rockefeller staff memo is an "alleged" issue at all is that Hannity, trying to be Rush-lite, tried to make this an issue. He thought that he had something that would divert attention from all the bad and negative things resulting from this neocon invasion of Iraq. Instead, it is turning out to be, Robertson spin notwithstanding, a big plus for the Dems. It is giving them an opportunity to have people pay attention to the fact that this administration, through its Republican henchmen on the Intelligence Committee, is obstructing every avenue that leads to indictment of Bush administration officials and their use or misuse of intelligence leading up to and right after the invasion of Iraq. Today was a perfect example of how this is an opportunity for Dems when Sen Levin stopped Tony Snow dead in his tracks on trying to spin this issue in favor of the Republicans. First of all, how did Hannity or any of the Bushcos get their hands on a memo, deep-sixed by a Rockefeller staffer? (It had to be stolen or some other "dirty trick"). Second, the real issue is about what the Dems are trying to do...and that is to get out in the open just how this administration has played the American people for the suckers that many of them are. Hats off to Sen. Levin...and mucho thanks to Sean Hannity for giving us the break we needed.

On another note, Perelee had his butt handed to him by Holbrook on the show hosted by Stephonopolus...the worm. Richard looked like the liar that he really is. Even George Will was shaking his head.
