Joe Trippi, Political MVP 2003
Is it official yet?

I love the way this campaign is being run. It is creative, aggressive, brilliant, and at the same time it does not seem like a game to them. They recognize the stakes are the future of the world. Nothing less.

Political operatives, like all professionials, seem to live in that cartoon where the dog and the wolf spend all day fighting over the chickens, then clock out and walk home together.

I don't see Trippi going home to Mary Matalin. Thoughts?

3. One of the things that I've found amazing
and someone else had to point it out to me -- MONTHS ago -- is that Dean has been running a General Election campaign all along.

One of Trippi's pieces of advice to Dean was: Run as if you have nothing to lose. I rather like that too.

5. Eloriel, I believe he has, yes--except that when he does actually
run in the general election, he'll be a lot stronger because he'll really appeal to a broad spectrum of people. He'll make that extra effort.

6. A Classic Political Insider
Without him, Dean would be home right now cooking dinner for his wife.

8. At least he is a winner unlike Terri McCaulif
and Donna Brazille, who need other duties.
