Support our troops like GW Bush (Post "Bring 'Em On" Edition)
Support our troops like George W. Bush...

...by slashing veterans benefits to pay for his tax cut for the filthy rich:
<http://www.tucsoncitizen.com/national/3_18_03vets.html>

...by ordering VA medical centers to stop publicizing available benefits to veterans seeking care:
<http://veteransforcommonsense.org/article.asp?id=563>

...by neglecting to provide those fighting in the Gulf health screenings as mandated by the 1997 Force Health Protection law:
<http://veteransforcommonsense.org/article.asp?id=563>

...by cutting funding to schools on military bases:
<http://www.guardian.co.uk/uslatest/story/0,1282,-2384100,00.html>

...by refusing to explain his year-long absence during his National Guard tour:
<http://www.tompaine.com/feature.cfm/ID/3671>

...by allowing phone companies to charge soldiers stationed in Iraq as much as $2 a minute upfront for phone calls home:
<http://www.stltoday.com/stltoday/news/stories.nsf/News/29C29C76A642DFC386256DC2000F848A?OpenDocument&Headline=Military+families+protest+big+jump+in+price+of+soldiers\'+calls+from+Iraq++>

...by allowing Cheney's company Halliburton to refuse to deliver mail to soldiers stationed in certain high-risk areas of Iraq because it wouldn't be "cost efficient" to the multi-billion dollar company:
<http://www.salon.com/opinion/feature/2003/09/18/mcarmy/index_np.html>

...by failing to provide proper barracks and kitchens, drinkable water, and other necessities to many GIs in Iraq, thanks also to Halliburton, a major Bush-Cheney campaign contributor who was paid dearly to provide these amenities, yet has failed to do so even after eight months of combat:
<http://www.salon.com/opinion/feature/2003/09/18/mcarmy/index_np.html>

...by compromising the troops' safety by outsourcing many routine tasks to private companies, hence distracting soldiers from their combat duties by the increased need to protect civilian contractors:
<http://www.d-n-i.net/fcs/comments/c495.htm>

...by making soldiers who suffer morale problems in Iraq face disciplinary actions which can result in reprimand, extra duties and forfeiture of pay:
<http://www.msnbc.com/news/980954.asp>

...by refusing to honor fallen soldiers with a hero’s welcome, instead sneaking their bodies into the country as if he's ashamed of them:
<http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A55816-2003Oct20.html>

...by refusing to give well-deserved pay raises to our men and women in uniform, opting instead to hand the money over to the well-connected Halliburton and other private contractors:
<http://www.cleveland.com/living/plaindealer/index.ssf?/base/living/106672899469830.xml>

...by threatening to withhold funding for the troops if Congress doesn't approve his ENTIRE $87 BILLION handout to those same private contractors:
<http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/afp/20031021/pl_afp/iraq_reconstruction_us_031021175409>

...by allowing almost 400 of our brave men and women in uniform to die, and some 2,000 of them get injured, based on a series of treasonous lies:

1. "Do as I say, not as I do" is Bush & Co. policy
They truly don't give a damn about our troops. How dare he not attend a single funeral, for either IRAQ OR AFGHANISTAN!?

'Luck troops

"A White House spokesman said Bush has not attended any memorials or funerals for soldiers killed in action during his presidency as his predecessors had done" - Washington Post

3. I would phrase it more along the lines of
"Do as I say, and shut the fuck up. Unless you hate America."

Bush is one step away from walking to Arlington and pissing on all the tombstones.

17. What a fantastic cartoon that would be. . . . .
I wish I had some artistic talent. It would be like those stupid little decals that go in the back window of pick-ups, the little kid pissing on Ford or Chevy or Dodge or France or whatever.

Li'l Georgie whizzin' on a fallen soldier. Jeez, ain't that the fuckin' truth.

sorry for the potty mouth
