Who conning who? Turkey gets all kinds of grants and aid
from the USA for her assistance in the Iraqi War. Then she pulls out at the last minute. Took the money and RAN. Was supposed to send 10,000 troops to Iraq.... but something happened on the way to the train station.

Like a dose of Reality/Sanity.

We got ripped off,,,,, AGAIN????

1. Well the
hand picked Iraqi council said they didn't want any Turks in Iraq as a part of the 'coalition'.

So the Turks said...fine, and refused to go. Not welcome and all.

Since I doubt you'll get the goodies back...yeah you er...got...um...

3. I was stationed in Turkey 30 years ago.
We have maintained bases there for decades and given them billions in aid. They are indeed one of our staunchest allies. They are also the scourge of the Kurds and that is why they are unwelcome in Iraq.
