4. astonishing
Just read the speech. It's amazing. Leaves out a lot about the overall system but nails Bushism down without mercy. Attacks the Ashcroft post-9/11 roundup and the war. Calls for 9/11 investigation, restoration of civil liberties and repeal of PATRIOT.

Why did he wait until he was out of politics before he started talking so much truth?

Would he stand on this stuff as eloquently and uncompromisingly were he to be drafted?
