If we win in '04, who will the repukes run against us? Jeb is term-limited in 2006 and will probably want to run.

If we lose in '04, Hillary has it in the bag in '08? Who else will want to run?

1. No doubt in my mind

that they will put Jeb up to the task.

However, if a Democrat won in 04 and he/she became unpopular at the end of his/her term, should they step down and allow Hillary to run?

2. Hillary will never win.

She's too much of a lightning rod for right-wing hate. It would be insanity to nominate her.

3. It will be Jeb or his son.

For the Dems, either the winner of 2004, or maybe Gep's turn.
