According to The New York Times, the Bush administration is seeking to block the troops from collecting millions of dollars they won in a federal court ruling against Saddam Hussein's government.

2. Conservatives hate the military

I don't know how many times I've heard a right-winger state "Liberals hate America." Yet it's the Republicans who take actions that affect veterans, such as cutting funding to VA hospitals. Sure, there's plenty of money to build schools in Iraq, but no money to compensate this group of vets who won a lawsuit against Saddam Hussein. So, I can only conclude that Conservatives hate the military.
