1. The only reason Bush is as high as 48 is the media hiding the lies
I expect the media to do its thing: exaggerate any Dem statements - take them out of context - or as with Gore - actually repeat GOP lies as if they were truth.

All the while hiding Bush past lies, and acting like a reprint service for GOP spin, new lies, and partial truths.

2. media
I will not go into another rant about the media, but sometimes I think they are more the enemy than GW. They have sold out and it is disgusting.

4. It is hard to buy something if no one is selling
They definitely sold out. It is just the fact that the GOP was able to meet their price with both money and intimidation.

5. look down to the question....
"In general, would you like to see George W. Bush reelected to another term as president, or not?"

51% of the Men say "no"
51% of the Women say "no"

But overall only 50% say "no"

I don't get it. (And don't say rounding. If both groups round up to 51% the whole group should round up to 51% should it?)

6. Does Anyone Remember When...
when it was "Unnamed Democrat 47% v. ShrubYa* 53%? All of the pundits, pretty much, said "as soon as you actually have a name in the (D) column the (D) numbers will drop like a stone. Geeze, you would think that someone, anyone, in the "librul" media would call them on it. Maybe they'll have it on Capitol Gang Classics in another decade.
