Kelsey Grammar should play Eisenhower
You figure he's probably the most highly liked/respected modern presidents who hasn't gotten a biopic.

His ideology also fits Grammer pretty well too, being the moderate/centrist republican he seems to indicate he is.

Kelsey is from a military family and he looks alot like Eisenhower.

Thought hit me when I just saw him on TV.

1. I was thinking he and Dennis Miller could be whored out
to rich old GOP wives. I'm sure that Babs would love to crack his nut, That old ball breaker.

2. He is not annoying like Miller, I never see him get political
in every interview I've seen of him, he keeps his politics to himself.

4. Now, now. Don't get yer panties in a bunch.
I like Fraser also. But he has come out of his freeper closet as of late. He is no Denniss Miller, But he doesn't have to be, he doesn't need the money like the Miller whore needs.

3. David Letterman looks more like Eisenhower than any other actor

just an odd factoid.

5. Not Kelsey
Kelsey has tried his hand at playing historic presidents. His version of General Washington in the A&E production of " Benedict Arnold " shows his limitations there.

The best Ike I've seen in a movie was the actor whose name I don't know who had the part in " The Longest Day". The worst was probably Andrew Duggan who had the part in some docudrama about Joe Mccarthy.

I really draw a blank trying to think of a current actor who could credibly play the part.

7. Robert Duvall
Played him in the "Ike" miniseries. Not too bad.

6. His platform is either imbecilic or an abusive lie
He claims that he wants to run on the platform that people shouldn't look at our current politics as rich versus poor. Maybe he's just naive, but maybe he's a Social Darwinist. I'm guessing the latter, since he's smart and self-made.
