Poll question: Which governments should we emulate?
A lot of countries in the world have it more together than our's does.

I like most of the choices. Which one do you pick?

i mean before the system was manipulated by the neo-cons. this is democracy run amok... we live in a nation where your only free to do what they tell you. or your labeled 'anti-american' or 'communist'.

2. Freedonia

Seriously, I would say the Karl Marx version of Communism, where everyone works to the best of their ability, and everyone gets what they need.

I'm not going to make the same amount of money for the rest of my life just to "better my society". I want to fucking MAKE money. I'm not a capitalist pig or anything, and I advocate our country using a system similar to that of Canada or the UK. I'm not a proponent of economic darwinism. But if you're thinking that I'm going to work at a career that I may enjoy, but have NO opportunity for advancement in society, well then you've got another thing coming.

If we followed Marx, I would not be able to achieve my dream of starting my own architectural firm after I get my degree and license.

6. sure you would...
you just wouldnt be paid higher than any other firm... or lose your house if you failed... at least in certian versions of it. the system would collapse due to corruption eventuially so its a moot point anyway.

3. We don't need to emulate anyone.
Borrow and learn from particular parts perhaps, but not emulate as a whole.

7. If we did ours right, it might be OK.....
But we do have to get rid of that damn Electoral College. That one bugs me.

If we just actually went by the constitution instead of 1984, we might be ok.
