1. It's just a coincidence of course
Surely no one would believe that Bush would have soldiers killed for his political power do you? I mean, aside from the entire Iraq war?

2. THank you Drummer, I have asked on a couple different threads
over the past week for a link to the fourth death which was rumoured as a suicide. Noone had one, or posted one at least.

4. Did any of them go down in small aircraft crashes?
That seems to be the preferred "cleanup" method of the administration.

5. I am still curious
about how many rescuers there were. Does anyone have any idea? I know! I will read the article first, sorry. Premature posting.

7. I don't have a clue
but the article didn't address it. It does not surprise me that they are dying, sad thing to say but true. I am outraged but not surprised in the least.

9. BFEE is capable of anything-I'm not surprised either.
But it is fascinating fact given the emphasis on using Private Lynch as a vehicle for female enlistment IMO.

10. The Propagandamatrix article fudges a bit.
It says three of them were part of "the rescue team", and the other was in Lynch's company. Reports say that Cpl. Ung was in an engineering detachment which was part of a diversionary force. He may have been one of a thousand or more "involved" in that respect. Speer "was a member of a unit that helped rescue Jessica Lynch". This implies there were many units that "helped".
(see http://greenvilleonline.com/news/2003/07/07/200307079664.htm
and
http://www.smh.com.au/articles/2003/10/22/1066631502497.html)

Regarding the Tapper death, I can find no listings on the web of the circumstances surrounding it or his participation in the rescue. Ditto for Kyle Edward Williams. Anyone know where the article was quoting from regarding Williams?

The problem here is that judging from the PR hype, the military probably had thousands "involved" in one way or another in this "rescue", and it is hard to separate out who actually "participated", expecially when many soldiers were very eager to put the Lynch rescue on their "resume", as it were, since the case was much-hyped as the most heroic act of the war.
