Can some one fill me in on why the right suddenly wants to smear Jessica Lynch now?

Is it because she said straight out that the story about her rescue was a lie and a scam.

Its a strange contradiction, one day she is a hero, and litterly the next day, she is a b###h? That is a change so drastic to even rench the rubber neck freepers, or one would think.

The myth surrounding her rescue was a way for the far right to cast its criminality in heroic terms. She was a pretty blonde patriot up against a swarthy Middle-eastern torturer. It was perfect.

Most people react to politics on emotional terms, often uncluttered by accompanying thought. People also don't like to hear that they've been lied to. A percentage of Mr. and Mrs. Middle America have just been lost to the far right organs. The far right is ruthless. Exposed again, their reaction against Jessica Lynch is just a logical continuation of their pattern.

7. I am not happy with her

I would have thought she would have spoken out sooner and said

"Hey I was knocked unconscious and everyone else in my vehicle was killed, THEY are the heros, not me!"

They (the media) wanted a female war hero so they invented one.
