Well you are down to 9. BTW, there are several former Graham people in the Clark camp. I stayed with one in NH the other day. He had his graham materials piled up in his appartment. He said that he feels like Clark is the one. I am glad he thinks that since he is working on the campaign. Anyway, Clark has taken on a lot of Graham staff.

22. I'm humbled by the Graham people
The fact that they've seen fit to support Clark means they see in Clark some of what they saw in Graham, and that's a wonderful humbling compliment. Graham is a good man, and I was sad to see him be the first to leave. He really impressed me with his diary and workman ethic.

Clark has indeed taken on a lot of Graham's staff.

8. Somehow the original mind control language got disappeared in HR2977
Space Preservation Act of 2001. No more chemtrails, particle beam weapons, tectonic and sound weapons-lots of rather specific items in the exotic weapons arsenal got disappeared in the revised Space Preservation Act of 2002 text.

39. Kick & Bump (don't know n/t)

Threads are displayed in descending order by the last time to which something was posted in the thread. If nobody replies/votes for awhile, the thread moves down the list and, in time, to a back page. To stop that people sometimes "kick" or "bump" the thread back to the top by posting any old reply.

Inserting "kick" or "bump" lets others know to ignore that particular post.

I have no idea what n/t means. Nothing, maybe?

I am a Yellow Dog and will whole-heartedly support the Democratic candidate.
At this time, I have no idea who is really the most electable Democrat. As for the contenders, I have been the most impressed with Dennis Kucinich but General Clark may be the man.

17. At this point, Clark is most electable
of course, that could change at any time.

There's no solid criticism of him that seems to be sticking. The GOP has put him on "ignore" - which tells me they don't really have a strategy on how to handle him and they're hoping he goes away.

Plus, he's the most able to take away Bush votes - and that counts double: takes a vote away from * and adds one for the Dems.

And he can do all this just by being himself.

18. polls are inconclusive
Newsweek most recent poll has Clark four points behind Bush, compared to six-points lead Bush has vs. Dean.

However, a recent Marist Poll has Dean behind Bush by 8-points and Clark behind him by 19-points.

Other polls show all the candidates within moe.

50. I think Clark, Edwards and Dean are electable.
But Clark has the best chance of the three to be nominated. Plus, *white males* can vote for him!! And the military!!

I have supported Edwards so far, but his time seems to be running out. If he doesn't 'catch hold' very soon, it will be too late. I do not think the DNC/DLC will allow Dean to be on the ticket.

I work in law enforcement. Most cops tend to be Republicans but some of them are becoming disaffected with Bush. I can tell you, Clark is the only one who can draw them to the Democrat side. If anyone else is nominated, they'll stick with Bush. I'm not saying I agree, just that its the way it is with them.

30. Same goes for other GOPers
My parents voted for W; Pop's a conservative, but of the paleo-conservative stripe, and my mother usually follows his lead. They don't like the Chimp at all, but could vote for Clark. NOT because of his views, which are far to the left of where they are, but because they perceive him as a disciplined, strong-on-defense, short-on-bullshit kind of guy. The "character" thing. Trust trumps issues. They know the Chimp is a phony, but they'd vote for him over a Dem that they didn't trust.

A life long democrat, 87 years old, anti-military because her brother was killed in WWII, rural MN town resident, and she loves Clark. Thinks he is a gentleman and a scholar. She has a hard time with Dean as he is a bit abrasive for her. I think Clark can appeal to seniors.

Don't misunderestimate the ability of the media to always characterize Bush is a good light. ALWAYS. If Americans were informed, Bush would lose by a vote ratio of 6:1, but they aren't. And don't forget Diebold's contribution.

This is why "ABB" isn't quite the proper attitude. The Dems need someone who can overcome media bias, and reach the folks who've been brainwashed by Republican propaganda/lies.

If the public were informed, Al Gore would be in the Oval Office right now. But they ain't.

Remember, there are millions who will vote for bush simply because they LIKE him best. Forget the quagmire in Iraq. Forget the economy, forget the Supreme Court nominations. Which person would you rather have a beer with??? Now, THAT is important!!!!

42. Dean or Clark are both good
I heard that the Establishment hates Dean and drafted Clark just to beat him. So far Dean seems true to his grass roots, but who has Clark's ear?

The Establishment has picked presidents for decades, because they can control them later if need be. We all know Bush is a prime example.

52. The "establishment" just thinks Dean can't win against Bush
I'm not making a judgement on that, although I obviously support Clark, but what I've heard, from members of said establishment, is that they don't think that Dean can win and they think that if Dean is the candidate we'll lose more seats in the House and Senate, too and that's why they don't want him, pure and simple. I don't know if they're right or wrong about that. I hope they're wrong because he certainly stands a good chance of winning the nomination, but I think that is the reason that the Democratic leadership is less than enthusiastic about him. I support Clark because I think he can win, but that's only part of it. I haven't been this enthused about a candidate since JFK and I was 10 when he ran. Of course, I'll support anyone who does get the nomination and I really hope that Clark is in whatever administration we elect.
