Transcript of Faux News court hearing in lawsuit against Al Franken |
|
This should be fun. It was posted on Al Franken's website, but Atrios was the one that provided the link: http://alfrankenweb.com/foxcourt.html

--------- THE COURT: The President and the Vice President are also on the cover, are they not?
MS. HANSWIRTH: Yes, they are.
THE COURT: Is someone going to think that they are affiliated with Fox?
MS. HANSWIRTH: I think Mr. Franken does. ---------------
THE COURT: Of course, it is ironic that a media company that should be seeking to protect the First Amendment is seeking to undermine it by claiming a monopoly on the phrase "fair and balanced." The motion for a preliminary injunction is denied.

|
the US, especially all those putrid acts trials. (Yeah, like there are any.) Thanks for sharing.

4. I can practically see the judge... |
|
...rolling his/her eyes during this discourse. The whole thing was ludicrous from the start, and the judge's questions clearly indicate that.
Thanks for a great read!
