Begala slams Dubya on Veterans
on Crossfire, on how he's closing military schools, hospitals, etc. Just like Vietnam, he is AWOL again

Novak: Bush was not AWOL, that's libel

Begala: His own general said he was! Sue me!

7. hehe. That was my response, too. Did you have Ms Hawkins for Eng. ?
I looked up libel in the Merriem Webster, though, and the second definition says it's both. Who knew? :)

4. AWOL AWOL AWOL
We need to keep repeating it until the misguided souls who think Dubya is actually commander-in-chief get it.

6. If he's not AWOL, then he's a deserter
I don't recall my UCMJ manual, so I don't recollect whether you're AWOL for 30 days, then a deserter, or vice versa. Seems to me that Lil George is way past the time to be considered AWOL; he's guilty of desertion now.

20. So, he couldn't pick the first one?
Or any of them at all? Even his daddy had the decency to at least eulogize the soldiers from Desert Storm...

Haha, he mentions how the draft was unfair in Vietnam and that those in the right places didn't have to go, and they're now serving in the government (dig at the chicken hawks)

Novak: this is just because you didn't agree with this war.

18. Hey racenut . .
. . when you call someone "Gay Bay" - it is difficult to know whether you are Bashing gays for being like Bay - or bashing Bay for being gay.

In either case - you are bashing gays and must believe they are despicable people.

Most of us at DU are a little more tolerant of sexual orientation. Or was that just an infantile moment of hateful habits coming through?

15. I have a theory about novack
He was very critical of the invasion before it started
and even was a tiny bit critical after the whole
mission accomplished speech . but after the leak
of Valerie Plame his whole personna has changed .

His whoring is in overdrive now like never before .
Why ?
Was he promised protection , if he whored the WH line?
Was he set up?

lots of questions I have

17. Begala's hinting about Hillary running in 2008. The senator has stated
Edited on Tue Nov-11-03 05:14 PM by oasis
that she hoped a Democrat would win in 2004 and serve TWO terms. Her earliest White House bid under that scenario would be 2012.

Get on the same page Begala.
