Why don't we see Al Gore on any of the TV talk shows?
Why does he have to schedule a talk on Moveon.org in order to get heard? Do they think the person that won the last election doesn't have anything worthy of saying or hearing? Why are they boycotting and freezing out Al Gore in the national media? Shouldn't he be seen on some of the talk shows? Is there some unwritten rule that the person that wins the last election has to disappear and never speak again? Isn't it about time some of these talk shows get "the" spokesman for the Democratic Party on their shows for his opinion?

2. Because he's not promoting a book.
When he writes a book, expect him to be everywhere, every show, every channel.

Seriously though, what makes you think Al Gore WANTS to be all over TV? Maybe he'd just rather stay out of the spotlight.

3. I agree
I think that Gore is avoiding crowding out the message of the Democrats in the field right now - he'll give a speech here and there, but he's not going to be all over the airwaves.

Unfortunately, though, his speech has gotten a tiny bit of coverage, but it hasn't exactly made a huge splash. I've only seen one small snippet replayed on the networks, and that hardly conveys the depth of what he had to say.

4. Because he's the President in exile
he reminds everyone that the election was stolen and a fraud sits in Al's House! That's not good for selling cars and washing machines!

5. The media continues to ridicule and dismiss Gore...

despite his 2000 vote, and many, if not most, Americans are buying it. And, agreeing with Unknown Known, the media knows Gore won (despite their cheerleading for W from campaign start to finish).

7. same reason you never see hightower, ivins, chomsky, zinn, etc
cable tv thinks it's best to let rightwingers tell you what the left thinks

or failing that, they trot out margaret carlson or some other phony for 'balance'
