Pop Quiz: Where did our national budget surplus go?
If I remember correctly, we had a national budget surplus of approximately $1 trillion or half a trillion. I recall George W. Bush axing it, with few protests from the Vichy Democrats.

Of course, we all know where the money went - into the pockets of the corrupt. What isn't clear to me is what path it followed and how the Bush administration and the loyal media explained it. Or maybe they explained it, and I just forgot.

If the budget surplus was $1 trillion, and there are about 300 million U.S. citizens, then each man, woman and child should have received approximately $3,000. If the stolen budget surplus was $half a trillion, each of us should have received about $1,500.

Well, I didn't get my check. So where did the money officially go?

5. 1 trillion was a projection
over a period of years. And everyone has a projection. And they are all different. The surplus for a given year only got up to 200 bn.

The charts at http://pearlyabraham.tripod.com/htmls/gop-charts.html are interesting...
