Colin's drug of choice was found in Cliff Baxter |
|
Edited on Wed Nov-12-03 02:24 AM by grasswire
Colin Powell's admission that "everyone" uses Ambien regularly reminds me that Ambien was found in Cliff Baxter's body, and he had taken enough to put him in a hypnotic, suggestible state of mind.
NOW. I don't know about you, but I don't particularly like the fact that "everyone" (we must assume that means very high-level administration people) is taking this med that (when two or three tabs are taken) puts the taker in a hypnotic, suggestible state of mind.
Good Lord. What a nightmare.
Just google ambien baxter for more info.

Conscience bothering you there, Colin?
Frankly, it seems like a lot of people in this country are in a "hypnotic, suggestible state." Maybe they're putting it in the water?

2. Hypnotic Drugs? Propaganda? |
|
That might explain a few things I've noticed. Like how many wing nuts are on medication and listen to Lush.

I've never taken Ambien. I always thought I was someone. Are we to become a nation that consists entirely of Ambien and Viagra users?
Before this administration, I don't remember there being an epidemic of depressed, mood-swinging impotents( well, I guess this administration could cause that). It seems really strange that the repukes that have always been for the war on drugs, all seem to think that prescription meds, necessary or not, prescribed legally or not, are a-ok. Now it is possible, after the repukes have done so much damage to the environment, that there is an epidemic of men not being able to get a hard on, but it is also known that Viagra is supposed to enhance pleasure and stimulation. So I guess it is being promoted for purely recreational use. There is no way that the level of viagra sales could be explained by those who need it alone. They are clearly making money pushing a drug for recreational consumption. I wonder why they are so silent on this issue?

6. it's a sleeping pill.... |

was prescribed it once... it did absolutely nothing for me. It's not, as far as I can see, a hypnotic.
Now Halcion.... THAT'S a hypnotic!

8. taken in proper doses... |
|
...it's not a hypnotic. But in larger doses, it is considered a hypnotic that can induce a coma-like state even. And the person can be suggestible.
The horrors of our top policy makers in a suggestible, stuporous state is mind-numbing.

9. Actually, Ambien is NOT related to valium |

or any of the other benzodiazepines, though it has similar effects and side effects, such as diffculty with coordination, short term amnesia, sedation and potentially depresion. Personally, I've never tried it for my sleeplessness- doc says it's more expensive and isn't as effective at countering anxiety or slowing down "racing thoughts" as my current drug of choice, ativan (lorazepam).
Incidently, benzo's like ativan, zanax or valium aren't really all that addictive, contrary to popular opinion. The addictive effects are primarily psychological and reinforced by taking them "when you need them" such as during panic attacks, when a person can't slow down their thoughts or when you think that you just can't sleep witout them. Taken on a regular basis, they are much easier and safer to quit than most other psychiatric meds.

The BCE has so many ties to the Pharmaceutical industry that they probably all have a "candy dish" full of pills in their offices.

we can't forget (though he's one of my heroes) JFK was WAY drugged up through most of his presidency on pain killers. And he did ok.
There is more evil at work in this White House than ambien.

...and highly addictive. It should only be used for a short period of time. My grandma was given Ambien during a hospital stay and it was very, very difficult for her to stop taking it.
