Does C-Span has a rightward tilt?
I know they claim to have no ideological biases. But it seems like they have more conservative guests than liberals.

Am I being paranoid about this?

1. they had orrin hatch on yesterday
and then rostenkowsky (spelling?) on today. hes just slightly before my time but i still remember him going to jail.

of course they have "mainstream" liberals so of course its going to be kinda right-ist. but they did have kucinich on a couple of weeks ago.

2. Guys, give it a rest.
No one is perfectly balanced all the time. But I swear when worring about the "right wing bias" of the likes of NPR and C-span in the fact of FOX and hate radio is what we're reduced to, then its really kind of weird.

I keep waiting to read "Z magazine is rightwing spin!" on these forums - I know the day is coming.... :D

4. IMHO a resounding yes
I have had to stop watching it because it became so pronounced. To be fair though they do put on a show of trying to be impartial it just isn't realistic.

5. all MOONIE all the time
As long as they can overwhelmingly poot forth the opinion science of Rev Moon's employees, the thin smattering of honest analysts and media critics is only there to provide cover/plausible deniability for their claims of bias.

6. I don't think they do.
They try very hard to show both sides. As far as their guests, you never know, sometimes the left leaning guest may have cancelled at the last minute and they had to scramble to find someone else. I listen to WJ all the time and stuff like that happens.

7. I've noticed a bias
Yesterday was terrible when they had Oral Hatch on. I put the mute button on and it stayed on the majority of the time because he never shut up. He went on and on and on and on.......then when a caller would call in that stupid host would cut the dem off and then let a repuke caller drone on and on....she made sure the repukes got their say...but that Hatch hogged most of the whole time he was on. When a repuke starts talking, they never know when to shut up. It's disgusting.
