1. i dont know but it was sad....
getting details of her comrades that died. The interviews with the Iraqi staff were touching.... An Iraqi who sang her a lullaby when she was in the hospital, sang it again for Diane Sawyer, only she covered her mouth the whole time....--that whole shyness thing. A doctor wished her a happy and long life...It really put a whole face on the Iraqi people -- they really were so decent. What a sad situation.

Lynch comes off honest enough and she is way more fcked up physically than I imagined. She also said her gun jammed and that the army concocted the whole rambo thing. There I save you a few bucks. I wouldnt pay for it either... it was a little slow and the re-enactments were dumb.

3. She was great with Sawyer...but more anti-Iraqi with K. Couric
Edited on Wed Nov-12-03 12:55 PM by glarius
hospital were very kind to her and saved her life....This morning, on the "Today" show with Katie Couric there was a decided change in the tone of her story....The nicest thing she said about the Iraqi hospital folks was that she guessed "they did more good than harm!"....which is hardly praise in my estimation....I wonder why the change since the Sawyer interview?....It's getting kind of sad...Seems like she's been told to toe the line...IMO
edit...changed wording in subject line

2. I have a question, didn't watch the thing
She has said that she "fell to her knees and began to pray".

I also heard her saying something to the effect of "Oh, God! Get me out of this!" (Not an exact quote, but some could construe even that as prayer).

Now, when she got down on her knees to pray, was this before or after her legs were crushed by the Humvee???

I am not bashing her. She is being used as an unwitting poster girl. I have no doubt that somebody told her that the arabic writing on the doctor's report said that she had been anally raped. If an "expert" in the field said so, you're likely to believe them. Unfortunately, the doctors who actually wrote that report have contradicted that "analysis"!
