Iraq Vet said to be AWOL killed by fellow soldiers |
|
I just caught a short report on CNN. Davis' body was found with over 50 stab wounds and burnt. He had been at a bar in US with fellow soldiers. Does anyone know more about this?

2. Earlier this week 2 soldiers found dead in burnt car in CA |
|
I don't remember the details, but one of them called the Milwaukee area home...it was on our local news.
Maybe this is the story you're thinking of, and maybe not. If not, murdering soldiers is in the news.

5. then there is the odd Ft Bragg murder-suicides |
|
and the 4 dead Pvt Lynch rescuers
seems like coming back from Iraq is pretty damned dangerous too! I'm trying to avoid tinfoil, though. (especially about the rescuers!)

4. Two Soldiers were arrested at Fort Benning, GA |
|
For the murder of a GI. That could be the one.
Fort Benning's in Columbus, about 45 miles form where I live, so it's gottenlocal coverage.

6. Yes, but he was considered AWOL because he had already been murdered |
|
it was at some bar in Columbus, GA. They got tossed out and (there were either 4 or 5 of them) and they got into some kind of argument. I believe they found his body a few weeks later on a 'tip'. Seems like they said 2 or 3 soldiers have been charged and are trying to extradite one from California. That's as much as I can remember.
