But I don't think a people is made more beautiful because they are governed by an occupational army from a western nation.

I think that it's a game no more moral than military chic.

Even if they only find weapons at one out of 10 of the leads we get, that's still US and IRAQI lives that will be saved in all probability

Because that means the resistance will be that much more determined, which means they will work that much harder to get more wepaons, which means the US troops will be there that much longer, which means more death on both sides.

The best outcome is the one likely being brokered right now - a very quiet, very quick end to the occupation.
