Repubs act as if Bush was elected with a mandate....
Edited on Wed Nov-12-03 10:07 PM by kentuck
If there was any president in history that should be looking for bipartisanship and working together, it should be George W Bush. One would think he would understand the circumstance under which he is presently in his office. He said he was going to be a "uniter, not a divider", but he has been anything but.

Now he has his Repub elfs in the Senate pulling an unheard of 30hr-anti-filibuster in an attempt to ram thru 4 more right-wing judges. He should be grateful with what he has already been given but he seems to have a greed for power that cannot be satisfied.

1. He was elected by 56% of the Supreme Court!
Bush: 56%
Gore: 44%

That's a mandate, isn't it?

</sarcasm>

3. That's what you do after a coup d'etat
you consolidate power and terrorize the populace.

5. Yup, straight out of Bushevik Ed Luttwak's Coup Manual
which the Bunnypants* Gang clearly consulted before seizing Amerika in it's vampirous grip.

For some pretty excerpts from the Bushevik manual:

6. Having Orin Hatch as your senator
is almost as bad as having Bill Thomas as mine.
