First they conned America into the stupid war and then they lost it! WTF! |
|
We're losing a war, a war we basically started for plunder. Actually as Americans, we are simultaneously losing several even more important wars. It's time we rethink America.

America is a wonderful country, we've just got a gang of thugs, incompetents, and war-profiteers running it into the ground.
If we kick this morons out of power, and do the work socially to make sure they stay out of power, America will take care of itself just fine.
But that's a big if.

I am really worried about our brave service people service overseas needlessly. I totally support them, but I really get burned up when I think about the fact that they are mistreated there, and even more so by our President. I remeber something I heard McGovern say about this; part of the reason that he never supported a war in Vietnam is because he did not see the threat or the reason to send American troops there. He said "if you truly cared about our brave servicepeople you would not send them needlessly into harms way unless it was absolutly nessarry." I 100% agree with that statment. When it comes down to it, Bush doesn't care about the soldiers, otherwise the situation would have never happend. So where's the compassonate converativism now?

is declare wars before we have them. Follow the process. This is the main reason why we get into these messes, we have abandoned the Constitution and narrow special interests have insinuated themselves into power.
The Congress also gets an easy out when the Constitution is ignored because they don't have to commit themselves one way or the other on the issue.
This, IMHO, is the fundamental problem here.
