Sessions read an article about how mean spirited the far right (and their judicial nominees are) and his wittle feewing are hurt, he said so.

1. They know that the Republicans

are losing this one. It is obvious. Whenever they give the Democrats a voice to speak, we always get the upper hand.

I must admit, I give props to Specter for having the balls to stand up to Schumer. Schumer is the mainman on this assault and I don't think the Republicans would have thought that this would have been this hard.

But so far, no Republicans other than Specter (and maybe a little wimpy throw from Sessions) have taken on Schumer. Harkin and ESPECIALLY Landrieu, who I was suprised by, took on the Republicans HARD!!!.

4. Yes he did take Schumer on

and Schumer (who seems to have been up all night) stayed on his toes. He was giving a long response to one of Specter's question when the President of the Senate stopped him.

Specter was asking him (for those who didn't see it) about a comment Schumer made about how ~"extreme right wingers are the only one's who could support these nominees" and Specter called him on it. Schumer said that on THIS decision he thought Specter was wrong but that he respects his opinion on most decisions.
