4. Excllent petition on that site
http://www.petitiononline.com/bushuk/petition.html
"...This state visit does not serve the purposes of the United Kingdom, those of our Prime Minister, or those of Her Majesty the Queen. It serves only to project the blatantly false image to voters in the United States that George W. Bush is a respected statesman with international support.

This state visit (and its coverage) will be manipulated by the Bush administration to reduce the visible presence and effectiveness of legitimate forms of protest, in much the same way that this administration has done so in their own country through the establishment of euphemistically-named ‘Free Speech Zones’. By setting such a precedent on our shores and through pressure brought to bear on our government, the policies of the Bush administration will have an unacceptable impact on the civil liberties of British citizens.

This state visit, by the Bush administration’s own admission, presents an almost irresistible target to terrorists. As the visit serves no purpose apart from the promotion of George W. Bush, it presents an unjustifiable level of risk to our Prime Minister, Her Majesty the Queen, and attending officials and citizenry. ..."

and a great recruitment poster

5. Anytime
I'm just hoping that this effort is successful. If so, it may catch on in the US as an independant source of news apart from what the media reports on both Dimbo and the Democratic candidate in 2004.

6. Do you think the US media would really censor the shots of
when they burn this 20 foot chickenwire/papier mache effigy of bush in Trafalgal Square, after toppling it like Saddam's? That's one of the planned main attractions of next Thursday's demo...

7. Yes I do and why would you think they wouldn't?
The US "Liberal Media" has not covered anything negative about Bush* to date. Why would they start now?
