3. Be nice if they would name the cities
If I were still a reporter, that's something I wouldn't have left out. You'd think the editor would have asked about that too.

4. It sounded like most of the Zabul province
Google says that major locations in Zabul include: Mezan, Arghandab, Shah-joy, Daye-Chopan, Shangi, Atghar, Washmal-Zaye, Wa-Trang and Juldak

5. So if the Taliban come back in Afghanistan and
Saddam comes back in Iraq after Bush implements his "exit strategy" (aka cut and run), just what is it that Bush and the neocons have accomplished, besides getting a lot of people killed and maimed and blowing up a lot of stuff?

11. Actually, I believe Bernie Ward reported the other night
That Bush Co. had been negotiating with some remnants of the Taliban trying to find someone to take over the mess america created.
Their "president" in kabul is actually just a mayor of the city, the rest of the country doesn't recognize him and he needs American bodyguards in the only city we "control".
I believe the term is: clusterfuck.

8. Hehe
Well, we've trained about 6,000 of our proposed 50,000, and there's about 4,000 more lined up. Seems like it's not a popular career choice in Afghanistan.
