40 hours of nonsense

You really have to wonder just how stupid Republicans think most Americans are. I'm assuming they believe us to be really, really stupid. They must believe that none of us will remember the political landscape during the Clinton presidency.

Bush has had 168 of his judicial nominations confirmed, but the Republicans really, really wanted four more, and what followed was a 40-hour publicity stunt.

Republicans, for some odd reason, cannot remember anything that happened in the 1990s. I say this because, in 1999, the Senate was going through this very same problem, with Republicans blocking Clinton judicial nominations. Check out the link below for an article that could have been written today, with "Republican" and "Democrat" switched where needed in the text:

Here's a great quote from the article:

"Behind it (the delay in appointing Clinton judicial nominees) is the opposition of GOP conservatives to Clinton judges they deem too liberal and likely activists on the bench. There has been grumbling on the right that Hatch is too willing to lead Clinton nominees through the Judiciary Committee."

Stupid is as stupid does.

And the Dem supporters are little better, as they never fight back every time the pukes do something evil even though the Repukes murder us every time we do something that can be perceived as stupid (or is stupid, we're not perfect either).

As long as repukes are in power, society's only going to get worse and worse until the middle class is exterminated and we're a world of "legal slavery" to our big corporate masters who eradicated "free enterprise" in the early 21st century.

America is what it was - greedy filthy pigs who'd use anybody or anything to get what they want. We had legal slavery once before... Then came the civil war, which was another conservative/progressive battle...
