Who won the Marathon in the Senate? |
|
Just saw Frist et al, saying that great strides had been made in the marathon. He didn't look too convincing, however. He kinda looked nervous and scared, actually.
To tell ya the truth, most all of those Pugs looked pretty down right stupid. And they sounded even worse than stupid. They sounded confused and petulant. They sounded like a bunch of angry schoolkids.
Ya mean to tell me that people around this country elected this bunch of jackals to represent them in congress? I find it hard to believe that people actually voted for any of those idiot pugs I saw on the Teevee.
The more I see of 'em, the more I am sure the votes have been stolen from the people and given to Republican party. It's the only thing that makes any sense.

When idiocies like this Repug propaganda attempt can't occur because the People are alert; then, the War will have been won.

4. We seriously beat their asses to the ground |
|
i think we won, but this is kind of a minor victory because most of America really didn't care. However, we got the momentum shifting our way.

Fox (Brit Hume show) considered whether Ted Kennedy is "racist" for generalizing Bush judicial nominees as "neanderthals."
We're going through a tough time in American politics. But let it be a lesson to us forever: Republicans can't be trusted with power.

6. This will galvanize the dems. |
|
If the 'pukes just learned to leave it alone then they woulnd't have had the dems' backs to the wall. Now the dems will realize what's its like to fight and win.

I suppose Bill Frist's ego also won, since he got to give everyone detention.

I bet their ratings jumped fairly high even though that doesn't matter because there's no advertising.

8. Senators reelection funds ..... |
|
There are legitimate issues involved, but I think the parties like to spice up issues to keep activist groups happy on both sides. All we had was a bunch of chest thumping so that when fundraising time comes the Senators can point to this.

12. repubs called for the debate. dems had no option but to go along, |
|
or accept the nomination of those four judges. i wouldn't call that "just chest thumping on both sides".

13. The Dems won... and here's why... |
|
Since 2000 we have been playing catch up. The Repugs have all but completly silenced any opposition voices, due to thier power or "patriotism". The Repugs opened this can workm up thinking it was going to be a 30 hour Democratic slam down. The Dems took advantage of it, and by showing the Repugs as refusing to move on VA funding, unemployment extensions, highway bill which would create 800,000 jobs etc, etc, and doing a clear job of making sure that everyone knoew it was over 4 people (168-4 was an advertising coux), and making them look stubborn, uncaring, elitist, and thanks to Mary Landrieu, unpatriotic... and lets not forget that wonderful Fox e-mail...
They unfreeped the freepers... they took thier topic and turned it thier way... hence Orrin's ministroke on the floor, Lindsey running to the supreme court, and Daschles happy dance...

14. Kudos to Reid for having his Issues Relay Race Team Ready |
|
You know, Trent "Closet Queen II" Lott used the word despicable to describe the Dem's actions. "Back in the Clinton years..ANY NOMINEE COMING TO THE FLOOR got to be voted on"
That's the LIE- They bottled-up Clinton's Appointments IN-COMMITTEE.
Bend over,Trent. :spank: Just the way you like it, Kitty Kat!
