If Limbaugh gets caught again with 1000 street pills?
Just to remind everyone, this is the third time Rush Limbagh has gone through rehab for his drug addiction.

The police already have Rush on tape buying four thousand pills.

The authorities are obviously ignoring that, and now that Rush is coming back from rehab and going back on the air to talk daily to millions of people.

My question..

If Rush Limbaugh were caught again (tomorrow), with thousands of illegal street drug pills ..

Would he then be held to the law?

1. Nothing would happen to him...he's protected by the fascist in power.

Because he helps keep them in power. Limbaugh could do a live TV show, showing him scoring and the pigman still wouldn't go down. And dittoheads would swoon and say he did nothing wrong and needed and deserved those pills so he could play golf without pain.

7. If Limbaugh was arrested wouldn't he have a date in court?
If not why?

Even Jebb Bush's daughter went before the judge.

2. Uh, no. He is immune, don't you know?
There is a a morality clause that every talk show host must sign. Does it apply to Rush? Apparently not. Any other talk-show host would have booted off the air, but not Rush.

It's disgusting. Where are the police? Did they investigate his home to find THOUSANDS of pills? Uh, no. If it were you or I that had this "stash", we would be in jail.

How does one explain thousands of pills? Not for distribution? Right...

Disgusting, oh yeah. :puke:

3. one thing for sure, ... he won't be peeing in a bottle anytime soon
But the employees of Wal-Mart, Home Depot, etc will be pulling on their zippers at the whim of any supervisor.

How sad is this?

6. Let's all call the WPB Police and file complaints
We certainly can provide enough evidence just from what has been published by the media and Rush's own addmissions of his 'problem'. If enough people file complaints the WPB police would be forced to do something about, you would think.

10. Maybe we need to do their homework for them
Here are some links to articles that lay out the evidence for case against Rush Limbaugh. According to these articles Rush is under investigation by the WPB State Attorney's office. Maybe we should call them to?

Limbaugh Faces Drug Allegations

Friday, October 03, 2003

NEW YORK — Political commentator Rush Limbaugh could become the target of a criminal probe into the sale and use of illegal drugs, sources told Fox News on Thursday.

Limbaugh, who quit his job as a football analyst for ESPN late Wednesday, had multiple sources from whom he could obtain the prescription drugs, namely OxyContin and other painkillers, law enforcement sources said.

Reports in the New York Daily News and the National Enquirer alleged Limbaugh got the drugs from his housekeeper, Wilma Cline. But sources close to the investigation told Fox News that Limbaugh had other drug suppliers and said the popular conservative personality could face a criminal inquiry by the Palm Beach County state attorney's office.

Rush Limbaugh in pill probe

Cline told the Enquirer she went to prosecutors with information about Limbaugh and others after four years of drug deals that included clandestine handoffs in a Denny's parking lot.

<snip>

She also gave the Enquirer a ledger documenting how many pills she claimed to have bought for him - 4,350 in one 47-day period - and E-mails she claimed Limbaugh sent her.

In one missive, Limbaugh pushed Cline to get more "little blues" - code for OxyContin, the powerful narcotic nicknamed hillbilly heroin, she said.

The account Cline gave the Enquirer is that she became Limbaugh's drug connection in 1998, nine months after taking a housekeeping job at his Palm Beach mansion.

Limbaugh admits addiction to pain medication

October 10, 2003

Rush Limbaugh announced on his radio program Friday that he is addicted to pain medication and that he is checking himself into a treatment center immediately.

"You know I have always tried to be honest with you and open about my life," the conservative commentator said in a statement on his nationally syndicated radio show.

"I need to tell you today that part of what you have heard and read is correct. I am addicted to prescription pain medication."

<snip>

He had tried to break his dependence in the past and has checked himself into medical facilities twice before, he said.

9. too rich and popular with the powerful fascists to be prosecuted
Thinking there would be a single standard of justice in America to which all are answerable is, unfortunately, misguided. There are actually several tiers of criminal justice available to American citizens:

1) ultra-rich, conservative, white-collar, well-connected: avoids prosecution entirely (e.g., Rush)

2) rich enough to afford high-quality attorneys: may be prosecuted, but will very likely avoid conviction (e.g., OJ)

3) able to afford some legal representation: will be prosecuted, but has a chance at a fair trial (e.g., middle class US)

4) poor, racial minority, blue collar, unconnected: will be prosecuted and convicted (e.g., most of the prison population)

5) "enemy combatants": under the "patriot" act, such designees are denied all rights, including habaeas corpus, counsel, and protection from self-incrimination (e.g. Jose' Padilla and anyone else the current administration wants to railroad)

Even if Rush Limbaugh were tried and convicted, I would bet money on him receiving a gubernatorial or presidential pardon.
