Was Zell Miller ever elected to the Senate?
I've read about two sources that say he was appointed in 2000, while another says he won the seat in an election.

Can any Georgians (or any DUers) set me straight?

I forgot his name, in 2000, he was appointed by the then Dem. Gov.to tbe Senator from Georgia. There was a special election in 2002 in which he won.

10. Zell asked Rep.Cynthia Mckinney to help in the special election
which he won. He repaid her by stabbing her in the back when she questioned Chimpy's knowledge of events leading up to 9/11.

8. The only good thing about Miller is
that come 3 January 2005, we won't have to put up with his "Democratic" ass anymore.

9. I heard him say that
he was staying a Democrat because he had been one for so long just felt comfortable, like some old shoe that might be raggedy, worn out and in need of fixing but is still comfortable (or some such crap as that). :argh: :grr:
