Poll question: If There Is Obvious Voter Fraud In The 2004 Election
Will the public make more of an outcry than they did in the voter fraud cases in 2000 and 2002?

Personally I think if Bush has another instance where he wins the electoral vote and loses the popular vote, and a couple of states are closer than 2,000 votes (which is probably likely), the public will make more of a noise than they did previously.

In 2000 the public wasn't used to hearing about voting machines not working. In 2002 they heard about it a little bit in rare instances, but nothing happened. Now with the BIG election coming up, the one that I'm sure the whole country WILL be paying attention to, if there is obvious that something fishy has happened...

...they will cry out.

Maybe I'm an optimist. But I think that's what's going to happen.

What do you think?

5. My biggest regret is that I didn't go to FL during the 2k mess...
...to counter the Brooks Brothers riot. If only I knew what I know now.

6. It won't be obvious. When you deal a card from the bottom...
you don't want to be seen.

and no one makes much of a fuss since then, despite atrocity after atrocity committed by this misadministration. I'm convinced that Americans are content to sit in their shit-filled diaper as long as they get their TV shows and Cheetohs and chocolate ration, and any old part-time job that pays minimum wage with no bennies is just peachy keen by them. As long as they can get a good deal on a Salad Shooter for Aint Wanda at Christmastime, and as long as they can be first in line at 6am at the after-Thanksgiving blowout sale at Walmart, why, that's just wonderful.

No one but DUers and the families of 9-11 and the families of the dead soldiers seems to give a jolly red fcuk.

edited for typo

8. We need a pre-picked team of 200 Election Monitors who are all 6' 6" tall
and weigh 250 pounds. That is the only we can win the Florida Fraud that will occur again when the Repukes send their gang of 100 thugs down there again to intimidate the Miami Election Board.

Sometimes I seriously think this is the only way the Democrats can win in 2004. Otherwise we're taking a knife to a gun fight in Florida.

9. I nominate myself
6' 6'' and uh... over 250 pounds. And living in a liberal city with a paradoxically Republican county government. Maybe I'll camp out in the Thurston County Auditors Office on election day......
