$57,000 dollars an hour.
When the chimp was in Florida this week, the local tv station did a report on how much an hour it costs the tax payers when a president goes outside of DC. They said that presidents usually do a 15 to 20 minute policy speech somewhere so they can charge the taxpayers for the campaign trip. I say this needs to be stopped by all presidents. If they want to fly and campaign, then the party has to pay. Look at how many trips the chimp has taken. This is his 17th trip to Florida and something like 19 trips to his pigfarm. $57,000 dollars an hour! This shit has got to stop.

1. Until the Chimpboy, his Poppy was the worst in history
constant travel, campaigning and above all vacationing.

2. Should the DNC sue to get this money refunded to the taxpayers ?
Didn't the Repubs pull this trick on Clinton one time? It is not legal to use Air Force One for political trips paid for by taxpayers. And I do not think Bush can claim all these trips are government "business"?

4. It`s legal
The party has to pay some of the cost but I don`t know how much. Without the little speech about medicare, the party would of had to pay for the whole trip.

3. The Chimp is required to break down his costs
and pay for campaign related expenses with the appropriate funding.

5. According to the idiot, this has been done for ages - since Reagan.
I'm not sure if Clinton did it. I'm sure the repubs would have screamed if he did. This is just more gross hyprocrasy. I want my money back. Oh, wait, I didn't pay taxes this year because I was unemployed for 9 months.

6. I remember
the right wingers going nuts over Clinton's travel costs. Even financial show hosts on radio were agonizing over how much Bill was spending with his campaign stops. Was listening to Bruce Williams one day just raking Clinton over the coals for wasting tax $$ for all the places he went.
