"Academics captured by leftists"
Today's conservative rant from my local paper. Below the sampling is a link to the full article, where you can post your comments, which I STRONGLY encourage you to do. Please keep in mind that while it seems they put up all opinions, I think it's done by a human being, rather than automatically, so there is a delay between when you hit "submit" and when your opinion actually appears. I shall now conclude that run-on sentence, and give you a taste of the article:

Want more evidence supporting Rush Limbaugh’s assertion that facts mean nothing to liberals? Or that academia consists largely of far-leftists out of touch with the real world?

Look no farther than Chuck Bauerlein’s column, "Are academic liberals threatened by proposed amendment?" (DLN, Nov. 7). He quotes one Larry Davidson, described as a history professor at West Chester University, saying, "The press has been emasculated by political conservatives because so much of the mass media is controlled by large corporations with ties to conservative agendas favorable to big business."

Yea, right. In order to believe Davidson, you either have to have been living on the moon, or you have to ignore the widely reported documentation, in several best sellers and op-ed columns, of the long-standing left-liberal bias of, to name just a few, The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, The Washington Post, The San Francisco Chronicle, ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, Newsweek and Time.
