2. Bremer met with Bush and they iced the deal:
1) spend the $87bn as fast as possible; 2) squeeze even more out of the national treasury, but do it on the sly - no more national tv announcements; 3) sell Iraqi corporations to US and UK conservative supporters at rock-bottom prices; 4) set up pro-US corporations provisional government in Iraq; 5) bring some troops home next summer right before the election to victory and hero parades; 6) leave lots of troops to protect the pro-US government, otherwise it will fall in a day; 7) declare the Iraqis free and liberated and the war a US victory; 8) get Bush re-selected so they can loot the treasury even more.

I go with CBS Face the Nation and hear what Senator Edward Kennedy has to say....if it is anything like what he had to say on the floor of the Senate a few nights ago it should be interesting!
