He always wears a cow-boy hat- but you never see him on a horse- he is scared of them. Some DEM contacts in Texas tell me that he real cowboys around there call him "the windshield cowboy..."

The pig-farm was bought at the order of Karl Rove in late 1999- the idea was indeed to stage Regan-style ranch scenes- except Reagan really did ride horses and stay in shape by chopping wood.

Bush "clears brush" or "bresh" as he calls it, for the cameras- the media makes it out like the "Crawford Ranch" is some family ranch that "Cowboy Bush" has been "working on" for years. You know, a place where he can "be himself".

But this is not Bush at all- it's all contrived propaganda. He apparently never "worked" on a "ranch" before 1999- it's just a cultivated media image. An image the media apparently had no trouble swallowing. Then the media willingly vommitted the image they swallowed onto our TV screens.

But the media does not tell us this, they willingly let Rove use them as his personal image maker. Liberal Media indeed.

1. When Shrub spoke to the Heritage Foundation earlier this week
he slipped and uttered a yacht-club-perfect "rather". I always thought the yacht-club accent only existed in cartoons. But I grew up in West Texas, and I garen-damned-tee you "rather" was never once pronounced that way there.

2. Yeah- a Thurston Howell III voice...
...is "country" accent is a put on as well...it's a lame atempt at Harry Truman "everyman" populism, at leas an image of populism...

His accent gets thicker or lighter, depending on who he is speaking to, or how deep South he is...

I'm from GA, and it's really fake and annoying...
