Just say No-vember. Can we call it the "Coattrition Force" now? |
|
If anyone wants to pipe up with a running tally, go ahead. It's definitely been a very bloody half of a month for everybody: combatants, civilians and even at least one "civilian" neo-contractor.
The "transition" is a joke: it's transparently motivated by politics and is a sign of panic. We'll retain our mineral interests, of course, and confusion will reign. That was a huge mistake on the part of the administration: it'll just inject more confusion of command and politicking all around, not to mention factional maneuvering and killing.
It used to be that the Republicans were wicked and nasty, but at least competent. This is just rank amateurism of fearsome proportions.
"Coagulation Forces?"
I'll just say "Coattrition Forces".
Of course, we have to stay; we haven't gotten ANY of that tasty oil yet.

we are now accepting the same terms for independent governing that we rejected a few weeks or months ago.
God, this has been horrible. I hope people will see it as a wake up call and get us out. My biggest fear is that too many will want us to stay there to "get even" or something foolish like that. Easy for some of those folks to say from their comfy couches.
