"Shout Out" to Future Ally

Another highlight of the visit to Memphis -- meeting my counterpart from the Dean campaign, Zephyr Teachout. Yes, there is another weird combo of "1/2 Internet, 1/2 evangelist" out there. She was also speaking to the crowd re: the importance of voting, social engagement, etc. And you know what? She was pretty darned cool. Now, needless to say, I'm (ahem) clearly more astute than my new buddy Zephyr when it comes to choosing candidates, but... suffice to say, once this primary season is over, it's good to know that there will be lots of other good, talented folks like her out there working with us to help defeat George Bush. So yes, it's going to continue to be a spirited competition during the primaries, as it should be, but looking forward... we are going to have one incredible team working together when it comes to the General election. (and yes, I did purposely capitalize "General." ;)
