9. Thank You! I'm so darn happy right now!
I hope the first thing Kathleen does when she moves into the Governor's Mansion is to clean the whole thing with Lysol to remove the stench of Foster! This man has literally had my skin crawling every time I heard him! It will be so nice to have someone dignified representing our state!

35. Last poll I saw had Jindal ahead by 4 points with a "3 point margin"
of error.

GREAT day in Louisiana and for the country. Those who are associating themselves with Smirky are getting tossed out.

28. I awoke to this news and
am honestly VERY pleasantly surprised. It looks like a HUGE backlash against incumbents is coming and hopefully the Democrats will take advantage of it. With a good positive agenda and lots of explaination of the truth of what rethugs are up to next Election Day may be such a great day diebold may not even be able to help them.

36. Important lessons here.
Last thing I got in the mail was a big full color foldout of pics of Jindal and Smirky together.

"Babineaux" of course is a French name.

People are kinda smirking around here themselves about the "French were Right" in Iragnam.

The worm is turning.

This is a vote against the Smirk, a la Landrieu victory.

I hope other states remember this and follow suit.

39. NY Times coverage of the election
Did anyone else notice how the NY Times covered the election? When Republicans Schwarzenegger, Barbour and Fletcher won their races, there were large articles with huge headlines splashed across the top of the NY Times website ("GOP Triumph in California" etc). Governor-elect Blanco, on the other hand, is covered in a small story way down at the bottom of the page. Damn that liberal media! </sarcasm>
