Kerry leaked the latest Feith top secret memo??
That's what the freepers think. They think it was leaked to stop Dean.

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1022586/posts

Democrats know that Dean will turn losing into an art form if he gets the nomination. In doing so and then getting killed by Bush, he will also obliterate all the other Dems running, leaving the field open only to Hillary. If the other Dems want to be given a shot in 08, they have to at least stop Dean now.

If Gephardt, Kerry, Lieberman and Edwards want a shot at it now or in the future, they have to make sure that Dean does not get the nod. Hillary would like nothing better than for Dean to wipe out all her future competition, and then himself lose badly to Bush.

The memo leak is a desperation move against Dean, as the best known Anti-War Democrat. I would guess that someone close to Kerry on the Intel Committee put out the leak, so that Kerry could beat Dean over the head with it in their next debate.

So this means that Limbacher at NewsMax was all wet when he said that CIA had released the memo in the article posted earlier this morning. I quit going to NewsMax months & months ago but I got suckered into clicking this morning. I gotta' wonder if his oars have ever even been wet.

Beyond that, I don't know what DoD is saying here other than qualifying the memo in substance but maybe not in minutiae.

I agree with you, doesn't John Edwards serve on that committee?

Fully agree. I wasn't considering another one of the Sorry Lot as candidates for setting up Dean. Guess that shows how little of a chance I believe any of them actually has, I think Dean will wrap up the nomination....unless the Beest does decide to run next year herself.

It is not BS, it just isnt ready to drop on Howard Dean's head just yet. Wait until he gets the nomination. The stuff that comes out of Iraq will make him look dumber than he already does. Timing is everything, so for now the leak will be disavowed.

4. here's one story...
...I guess you missed it.

Then the DoD put out a memo clarifying that none of the stuff in the Feith memo was new information. It's getting to be a real circus.

2. hmmm
It is rare for something to be leaked from the Intelligence commitee of the Senate. However, he doesn't serve on the Intelligence committee, so I don't know how he could get access to it. Well...staffers are now leaking everything from Faux News memo to the Intelligence memo. So who knows.

5. Planet, on, which are these people?
How would a memo that is a piece of crap work to undermine someone who was critical of the war? (Even assuming the rest of the tinfoiling had any basis in reality)

6. Uh oh, they're trying to think. Does the fact that it was "leaked"
to the Weekly Standard and FAUX News mean NOTHING to these people?

7. They can't add 2+2 and come up with 4.
This is the GOP spin planted to further animosity against Kerry and make Dean the victim yet again.

They did the same thing in their 2000 primary making Bush out to be the victimized candidate by McCain.
