1. I got my TiVo on it.
It starts here at 10am in Colorado. I'll miss MTP, but with that big thread here in GD, I'm almost there.

6. It's beneficial to look at what happened with the time that's passed...
How they did everything in their power to block, to lie, to distort, and to prevent a handcount of the ballots. Your ideas about the election of 2000 will only be deeply validated.

7. OK so how was it??
I considered calling my cable carrier and adding Sundance just so I could see it but what did you guys think (was it a good program or just so-so)? Would it be worth it just for that one show? AND are they going to re-air it if you know?

8. I'd say it is worth it to see it again in a different perspective...
It re-enforced my belief abut just how much of a crime it was....I would not suggest you buy cable for this one show, however.

12. Sundance is good, period.
They play a lot of independant, and foreign films. Also, they play more documentaries that any other premium channel I know. This month, they're also showing "A Perfect Candidate", a doc about the 1994 race for Senate in Va. Pitting the Oliver North operatives against the Robb operatives. It was quite good.

Sometimes it comes with a Showtime package (Viacom owns Sundance) so you can get ST too, and remember, "The Reagans" premier on that net in January.

14. How it's packaged varies from system to system
In Portland's Comcast system, it's part of the Digital Standard package. In Minneapolis' Time-Warner system, it's part of the Movie Pac with IFC, Fox Movie Channel, and a zillion channels of Encore.

It's one of my favorite channels, though, along with News World International and BBC America. Every Monday is Doc Day, with documentaries showing from late afternoon through the evening.

It's one of the bright spots in an otherwise dismal cable lineup.

By the way, Unprecedented will also be broadcast on Wednesday evening at 8PM Central.

It's unbelievable this happened in this country.

It's difficult to watch --- emotionally.

"This is What GOP Goons Look Like!"

In Seattle, during the demonstrations against the WTO, we came up with the chant, "This is What Democracy Looks Like." Well, after the mob of Repugnicans swarmed the Miami/Dade courthouse and ended the vote count there, now we know what the opposite of Democracy looks like! Those pictured are:
1. Tom Pyle, policy analyst, office of House Majority Whip Tom DeLay (R-Tex.).
2. Garry Malphrus, majority chief counsel and staff director, House Judiciary subcommittee on criminal justice.
3. Rory Cooper, political division staff member at the National Republican Congressional Committee.
4. Kevin Smith, former House Republican conference analyst and more recently of Voter.com.
5. Steven Brophy, former aide to Sen. Fred D. Thompson (R-Tenn.), now working at the consulting firm KPMG.
6. Matt Schlapp, former chief of staff for Rep. Todd Tiahrt (R-Kan.), now on the Bush campaign staff in Austin.
7. Roger Morse, aide to Rep. Van Hilleary (R-Tenn.).
8. Duane Gibson, aide to Chairman Don Young (R-Alaska) of the House Resources Committee.
9. Chuck Royal, legislative assistant to Rep. Jim DeMint (R-S.C.).
10. Layna McConkey, former legislative assistant to former Rep. Jim Ross Lightfoot (R-Iowa), now at Steelman Health Strategies.

15. Is "Horns and Halos" going to be on Sundance?
The documentary about the making of Fortunate Son biography and the death of its author? I would like to tape it.
