DEM: "You refused to cover this story(pick a lie, any lie) about Bush- perhaps you would like to explain to me and the voters why you kept this important information for them..."

DEM: "No- Tim, this IS about you- It is YOUR JOB to advance the freedom of the press by reporting ALL the news,even if it does make Bush look bad. Look Tim, I should not have to be the one to bring this topic up (Pick a lie, any lie)- that is YOUR job and I think the people deserve to know why you refuse to do it...By the way, you also "forgot" or refused to report this story (Pick a lie, any lie), and this story (pick a lie, any lie) and this story too (Pick any Bush lie). How can we have fair elecrions if peopel like you only report part of the facts? I think this is very important for 2004, and I think your viewers deserve an answer..."

I boycotted Bush/media long ago.

If DEMS would get confrontational with their greatest enemy, Bush/media, that might make it worth watching again...

Gore accused Alan Colmes to his face of being biased and basically a Lackey- it was great.
Gore LAUGHED IN HIS FACE when Colmes said "But-but Fox IS 'fair & balanced'

Then Gore chuckled and said- "okay, I wont make you bite the hand that feeds you"

I'd like to see this in every interview- use FACTS to back it up- bring up specific BOMBSHELL lies and ask them over and over

that Faux has been flogging for three days now. It has been devalued by the DoD press release that is on display at LBN, yet this A.M. Faux was continuing to call it the "smoking gun" and PERLE cited it on C-Span and the Weekly Standard's cover sez "Case Closed." Effing wingnuts have no shame.

But as for the topic at hand, I hear ya, am wicha, but also have a binful of e-mails to media whores sent out since the FAKE impeachment. See any difference yet?

12. Reply--Dems need to take on Media Whores.

We have reached a point in this country where we as activists need to band together--all types of activists--need to have a war room of sorts and and get as many members of each website as possible geared up so that at a moments's notice we can call on them to call, write- EMail the media.The Republicans never would have reached their level of success had it not been for their grassroot activists. Look jow quickly they geared up and made CBS foldregarding the Regans. long the activists on the Left look disorganized and unaffected the Media will continue to follow the bidding of the right. The grassroots on the rightwrites calls, EMails. Tjhe Media is afraid of this grassroots action. The Right has just about convinced thdem the country is conservative. Half the country does not even vote. We have permitted a small group who are well organized take rule of the country. Liberal Views are superior to Conservative views--Even O"Reilly admits that but for some reason we choose to let the Conservatives rule.

Here is an example where serious Liberal Action is needed. Cheney and some other Republicans have told all Republicans to call talk shows, Radio Programs and other Media Outlets to complain about George Soros and his 15,000,000 plan to help Democrats unseat George Bush.

During the 2000 campaign, some walthy Texas Businessmen called themselves an organization had TV adds made to bring down John MCCain. This is legal. Therefore George Soros has every right to do do the same on the left. All the Corporate Money brought in by Republicans dwarfs Democrats. Until we strike back the media assume the Left is too weak so they go with the Right.

15. I've taken it to the people

Whenever anyone begins telling me about some trash news, I just say...you know they are lying to you, they lie all the time.

More times than not, the person just sadly shakes their head. Many years ago I ran across a quote about how Americans were/are the most propagandized nation on earth. Now the Soviet Union was still up and running at the time; however, the quote went on to say: that although Pravda told more lies, the people of the Russia knew they were being lied to, and believed nothing they were told. Whereas, the Americans actually thought they were hearing the truth.

While we may hope that the future holds more-some-any honesty in the media, we all can do something now. Never let a lie become the message.
