He has always been sort of an embarrasment to the vast middle of the country. Moderates tolerated him, and agreed with some things he said, but always acted a little sheepish when his name was invoked. The rabid right wingers will flock to him with fervor, no doubt....but I think his days of influence with anyone beyong the wing nuts is over.

...for his first show. My guess it will be his usual run of bashing everybody who isn't connedted to the Bush gang. He will then gradually turn into the mouthpiece for the wacko arm of the DEA, and that is what will turn his audience off.

Calling for a ban on all opiate drugs except for dying cancer patients is the aim of the wacko bunch in the DEA. When Rush starts that spew, everybody in the audience who has broken a bone, had their wisdom teeth out, or had any type of surgery at all will scream, "You made more sense when you were on DRUGS!" and switch the dial.
