What should be the Dems top priorities in 2004?
1) Win back the White House

2) Get us out of Iraq ASAP.

What do you think?

5. I 2nd that "win the white house" idea
and then go from there. even if we don't win the senate and/or house, the white house at least could be used as a bully pulpit. Zell Miller should be put on a slow rocket ship aimed for Pluto. How come it is you NEVER see a LIBERAL REPUBLICAN? But man oh man, there sure is enough conservative Democrats to go 'round. So sickening.

Lu Cifer, don't care who gets the Democratic nomination, JUST SO LONG AS THEY KICK "PRESIDENT" BUSH's LILLY WHITE ASS ON NOV. 4, 2004. PERIOD. END OF STORY.

2. I think I'd focus a little more on the 'hows' of your number 1
I really don't see sufficient focus on how this will get done at this time except by Edwards. on the one hand I think that this is the right way to be seen as people are already tired of the sniping and will REALLY be tired of it by the time primaries roll around. on the other hand I worry that this approach may continue to get drowned out by the general hubbub of the catfighting.

I also would not forget about getting some other seats put back on the correct side of the aisle.

without this happening you can forget the rest.
