Socially conservative, fiscally liberal |
|
-- that's what I call Rethuglicans.
You can ask if they're socially conservative or socially liberal then you can ask if they're fiscally conservative or fiscally liberal, then you know where they go.
If they say they're fiscally conservative, socially liberal - ask them what party they belong to, and if they say "Republicans" -- tell them they are in the wrong party.

2. We're not fiscal conservatives either.. |
|
Just because we're for discipline and balaned budgest doesn't get us to the label "fiscal conservative" - we believe in social programs and a helping hand to the poor, progressive taxation, etc.
Fiscal conservative means more than fiscal discipline. It means against social programs, supply-side economics, corporate welfare, etc.

I really dont consider myself a fiscal liberal or conservative. fiscal conservative doesnt sound like me. BTW my grandparents tend to be a little conservative socially and more so liberal economically, me I am a liberal on all fronts.
