Dean Supporters Take it right to Bush in Crawford, Texas....
Edited on Mon Nov-17-03 12:14 AM by slinkerwink
The Caravan to Crawford, Texas -- starting in Waco, including people from Fort Worth and Austin -- rolled into Crawford around 5 PM tonight, and rallied at the edge of town. What you don't see in this picture is the fire "farr" ants and the prickly pears pushing up and crawling around the toes.

Crawford is Dean Country!

Crawford Peace House volunteers excel at hospitality

An ample crowd showed up from across Texas and beyond for the Grand Opening of the Crawford Peace House on Easter Sunday, April 20. Many volunteers had rolled up their sleeves to help clean, organize and prepare the house for the day, put in long hours working on the garden and labyrinth walk, or helping prepare meals for the occasion.

A professional landscape designer from South Texas and a volunteer crew of gardeners from nearby Waco helped Peace House Coordinator John Wolf transform a nondescript yard into a garden of native plants trisected by winding pathways flowing around a stone-faced peace labyrinth.

"For our dream to come to fruition in such a short period of time is an incredible testament to the strength of our belief in a peaceful world," said Wolf.
