What if we shipped ten thousand tons of marijuani to Iraq? |
|
And distributed it around the country. Seriously, wouldn't the resistence stop as everyone would be too stoned to do anything except get the munchies and go out eating?? Whoever heard of a pot-head wielding an RPG gun?

is already increasing in large numbers already in Iraq. A generation of Iraquis will be lost to its effects.
But those are only serious drugs. Marajuana I really have no problem really.

9. Still wrong drug of choice |
|
Historically, the region encompassed by Iran and Iraq had higher levels of opium use than hashish use.

I'd ship it to DC....
Disclaimer: That's a lie, I'd keep it, might see me through 'till Christmas, but hey, if it works I'd make the sacrifice...

11. Sounds like Standard Operating Procedure for |

keeping Americans docile, doped up and distracted. Except the CIA and the Pentagon prefer the addictive cash crops of cocaine and heroin.
Control the producers, skim the profits and distribute. Repeat.

12. seriously, this is standard counter-insurgency. |
|
We've seen it many times. It's another form of murder really, when we're talking about opiates and narcotics. That's why I'm very wary of drug legalization (which is different than decriminalization). I'm afraid of a desperate oligarchy doping up the masses in order to exercise more control.

13. Been reading "Brave New World" eh? I will trust the people. |
|
Personally, I am willing to totally legalize it. I trust the masses, believe it or not. I think they are a lot smarter than they are given credit for. In any case, to not trust the people is anti-democratic. If you don't trust the people, then you are only arguing about which elite should have control.

i don't know about you, but i wouldn't get on a helicopter in iraq right now unless i was very, very stoned.
but don't soldiers departing to iraq get a whole pile of medication anyway? god knows what they're giving these kids these days...i'm sure they can do better than saltpeter for behavior-modification.
